Bloomfield man walks out of courthouse rather than take a drug test

With more than one criminal case pending against him, a Bloomfield man arrived at the Greene County Courthouse for a hearing. When his probation officer asked him to take a drug test before the hearing, the man walked out of the building and didn’t come back. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

A Bloomfield police officer was put in a dangerous situation after stopping a car on State Road 157 for alleged reckless driving on Tuesday night. The suspect fled the scene but was apprehended with assistance from three Jasonville police officers who happened to be in the area.
