New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025:

Dec. 24, 10:55 a.m., Lyndon Allen Goodpaster, 26, Greencastle, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and interfering with public safety. No bond was allowed. 

Dec. 24, 11:38 a.m., Heather Marie Jarrell, 34, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. 

Dec. 25, 5:07 p.m., Joshua Lee Carmichael, 35, Worthington, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery with a prior unrelated conviction for battery against the same family member, theft, and criminal mischief. No bond was allowed. 

Dec. 26, 5:57 p.m., Cathy Jo Bault, 41, Bainbridge, was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal trespass. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Dec. 27, 4:02 p.m., Derrick Demarion Johnson, 18, Bloomfield, was arrested on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
