Lavonna Cheryl (Beadle) Rose, 72, of Jasonville, IN passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, IN.

She was born April 1, 1953 in Sullivan, IN to Donald Beadle and Monna (Kirkpatrick) Irons.

Survivors include her son, Jerad D. Rose of Jasonville, IN; sister, Rita Valez (Jeff Langendorf) of Urbana, IL; brother in-law, Larry Valez of Terre Haute, IN; nieces, Sara Rink, Angela Turner (Ryan), Abby Brown (Josh), Allison Allen (Devan); nephews Andrew Cox, Jon Cox; great-nieces & nephews, Brayden Turner, Peyton Turner, Sophia Brown, Alexander Brown, Ryder Allen ; cousins, Kayti Savage, Jeremy Trowbridge, Cassie Ryan, Micah Ryan, Korbin Trowbridge, Jayden Hughbanks, Karson Trowbridge, Carrus Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Jerad Devin Rose; sister, Madonna Templeton; grandparents, La’Gonia “Eph” Kirkpatrick and Mamie Cecil (Flynn) Kirkpatrick; 1st cousin-adopted mother, Marvena Davis; 2nd cousin-best friend, Belinda Pipkin.

Lavonna worked as a CNA for many years. She loved her chickens and taking care of them as well as fainting goats. Lavonna loved her family, including her nieces, nephews and cousins. Her nieces and nephews called her “Aunt Sis” She enjoyed spending time with them along with her friends. She also enjoyed watching soap operas too.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 1 P.M. with Pastor David Smith officiating.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Jasonville, IN.
