Underage drinking party busted; several being summoned into court

A deputy was dispatched to a noise complaint and wound up busting up an underage drinking party. Three juveniles are in trouble and today, summons were issued to six individuals aged 18-20 ordering them to appear in court on charges of alcohol possession by a minor, a Class C misdemeanor.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation searching for Georgia man with close family ties in Greene County

Adam John Lee, 30, of Broxton, Georgia, has been missing since May 20 and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Coffee County Sheriff’s Department have issued a request for information from the public.

According to Lee’s mother, Lee formerly resided in Greene County, spending growing up years here and also living here as an adult. Lee was residing in Georgia at the time of his disappearance.

The GBI says Lee has ties in several counties in Georgia, but also lists Indiana. The Indiana ties are close family ties and friends from Greene County.
