Sellersburg, Ind. - Wednesday, October 26, 2022: Detectives with the Indiana State Police (ISP) in Sellersburg have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of the unidentified boy found inside a suitcase in rural Washington County, Indiana, in April of this year. A warrant for the arrest of a second suspect is still outstanding and ISP is asking for the public’s help to locate the woman whose mug shot is included in this post.

The Elwood Police Department have identified the officer killed this morning to be Noah Shahnavaz, 24, from Fishers, Indiana. Shahnavaz was a five year veteran of the United States Army and proudly served the Elwood community for the past 11 months. The suspect in Officer Shahnavaz death has been identified as Carl Roy Webb Boards II, 42, from Anderson, Indiana. He is currently being held in the Hamilton County Jail and has no bond.
