New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026:  

Oct. 21, 12:43 p.m., Anthony James Robertson, 20, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, reckless driving, and driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. His bond was set at $9,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $950. 

Oct. 22, 12:53 a.m., Seth Michael Jewell, 20, Carlisle, was arrested on a preliminary charge of reckless driving. His bond was set at $500 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $50.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
