The family of Adam John Lee has been notified that Lee’s remains have been positively identified.

According to Lee’s mother, Lee formerly resided in Greene County, spending growing up years here and also living here as an adult. Lee was residing in Georgia at the time of his disappearance.
The GBI says Lee has ties in several counties in Georgia, but also lists Indiana. The Indiana ties are close family ties and friends from Greene County.

Michelle Bovenschen, age 48, of Jasonville, passed away peacefully at 11:14 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Serenity Springs Senior Living of Jasonville. She was born in Linton, IN on December 24, 1976, the daughter of Harold "Bud" & Karen (Ryser) Bovenschen.
Charles M. ‘Bud’ White, 95, of Jasonville, formerly of Switz City, Indiana, went to Heaven, with loving family by his side, on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Serenity Springs Senior Living in Jasonville. He was born on August 28, 1929, in Marion, Indiana to Guy and Cecil A. (Chenoweth) White. Bud married Norma J. (Pierce) White on March 16, 1962.
Carol Ann Sparks, 68, of Bloomfield, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. Born on July 24, 1956, she was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she met.
Jonathan "Jon" Towell, age 38, of Linton, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born in Linton, IN on February 26, 1986, the son of Cindy (Lewis) Leadman.
Robin Ann Sloan, age 56, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sullivan, IN on July 3, 1968, the daughter of Roger Myers & Zora Kay (Gambill) Misner.
Norma Jean Somers, 85, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday December 21, 2024 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Beth Ann Hasler, age 72, of Bloomington, IN, passed away in her home on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with her husband and best friend, Rod Hasler, by her side. She died of complications related to Alzheimer’s disease. Beth lived with the joy of a remarkable faith in Jesus, a big and beautiful family, travel, service, and the ordinary miracles of her singular and sacred life.
