Clinton "Clint" B. Reed, 45, of Linton, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, September 25, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, surrounded by his family.

Clint was born in Linton on May 19, 1981, to Charles "Chuck" and Tammy (Scott) Reed. He came into the world alongside his twin sister, Courtney, and they shared a bond that lasted his whole life. He grew up in Greene County and graduated from White River Valley High School in 1999.

Clint was the kind of man who liked to know how things worked and how to fix them. He brought that curiosity and skill to his career as an engineering technician at NSWC Crane with Tri Star. There he worked on electronic warfare decoys that help protect service members, and he took real pride in doing that work well. At home, he spent many hours working on vehicles, and there was rarely a project he wouldn't take on.

Clint was happiest outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, whether that meant a quiet morning in the woods or a long afternoon on the water. He also loved music and played the drums.

More than anything, Clint loved his family. He and his wife, Joy, had a home full of kids, and Clint made sure to be in the stands for their games. He cheered for every one of them. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his hard work, and how much he loved the people closest to him.

Clint is survived by his wife, Joy (Hubble) Reed; his parents, Chuck and Tammy Reed; his five children, Kolton Reed, Cameron Reed, Russell Goodman, Jessica Hubble, and Jonathan Carrig; his grandsons, Brantley McCallum and Benson McCallum; his twin sister, Courtney Reed; his maternal grandmother, Louisa Scott; and aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, of Walton Funeral Service, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of service. A funeral service to celebrate Clint's life will follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
