The Linton Water Department will begin flushing fire hydrants across the city starting the evening of Sunday, April 12. According to the department, the flushing process will take approximately four nights to complete and will occur nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., with all work expected to be finished by Thursday morning, April 16.

Property tax statements were mailed on April 9, and spring payments are due May 11. Fall payments will be due November 10, according to Greene County Treasurer Samantha Mahan.
