Donna Jean (Rollison) Crays
/Donna Jean (Rollison) Crays, 94, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:37 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper, Indiana. Born May 20, 1932 in Bloomfield, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ree and Beatrice Rollison.
Donna was a well-known businesswoman. She and her late husband, Dick Crays owned and operated Crays Ace Hardware and operated the Bloomfield Locker Plant for 37 years before retiring in 2000. She also has fond memories of working for the Indiana Bell Company as a Telephone Operator, which brought her enjoyment and stories to tell.
As much as she was an exceptional businesswoman, she was an even better mother and grandmother. The joy, happiness and pride she had for her family and the support she showed was evident every time you talked to her. She loved watching her kids and grandkids perform and succeed and would talk about them to anyone that would listen.
Donna was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Bloomfield.
Survivors include, daughter, Cinda Crays of Bloomfield, Kelli Usrey(Mark) of Bloomfield, Lori Graves(Andrew) of Switz City, and Lisa Bovenizer(Rick) of Prosper, TX; 6 grandchildren, Adam Vandeventer(Kristi), Laci Todd(Cory) of Bloomfield, Lexi Robinson(Kyle), Lani and Aiden Graves of Switz City, and Luke Bovenizer of Prosper, TX; 6 great grandchildren, Brynn Fiscus(Tyler), Lauryn and Lynlie Vandeventer of Bloomfield, Bridgett and Bristol Todd of Bloomfield, And Tate Robinson of Switz City; one brother, Laverne Rollison, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard A Crays; father, Ree Rollison, mother. Beatrice Rollison, father-in-law, William H Crays, mother-in-law, Hazel Crays, and many sister and brother-in-laws.
Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until the hour of service on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday June 26, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Scott Chastain officiating. Burial will follow at Scotland Cemetery.
The family ask that any memorial donations in Donna’s name be given to Scotland Cemetery.
