He was born on September 18, 1955, in Rochester, Indiana, Melvin was the son of Robert and Mary (Carpenter) Bruner.

George Marshall Pearson, 69, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at his residence. Born December 4, 1956 in Linton, he was the son of George Lee and Freida Mable (Turpin) Pearson.
Loren Ray Holtsclaw, 89, of Bloomfield passed away peacefully at 10:58 P.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at his home.
Kathy Karanell Thacker, 78, of Linton, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Donna Jean (Rollison) Crays, 94, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:37 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper, Indiana. Born May 20, 1932 in Bloomfield, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ree and Beatrice Rollison.
Sue Ann Booker, 88, of Dugger, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at her daughter's home in Linton. Born on December 28, 1937, in Linton to Hermus and Bonnie (Schubla) Duncan, Sue was a proud lifelong resident of the area. A 1955 graduate of Dugger Union High School, she carried with her a strong sense of community and devotion that shaped the rest of her life.
Trent Jonathan Frady, 55, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, June 22, 2026, at IU Bloomington Hospital. He was born April 12, 1971, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to John and Lana (Cornelius) Frady.
John Robert Gentry, 84 of Linton, IN passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at Glenburn Senior Living Center in Linton, IN. He was born in Carlisle, IN July 27, 1941, the son of Marcus Gentry and Lillian Mable Mitchell Gentry.
Daryl Baker, age 72, of Bedford, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Magestic Care in Bedford. He was born January 19, 1954, in Linton, Indiana, a son of Frank Baker, Jr. and Christine Baker Gurton (Squires).
