According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Greene County Superior Court, officers executed a search March 5 at a residence located at 435 S. Callahan St. in Lyons.
The investigation began when Lyons Town Marshal Chandler Willard contacted Worthington Police Officer Jacob Gambill regarding complaints from residents about a high volume of traffic at the home of Coty Parsley, 33. Additional suspected methamphetamine weighing approximately 0.73 grams
Officers also recovered a jar containing plant material that field-tested positive for marijuana from a vehicle parked at the residence.
According to the affidavit, Parsley admitted the items belonged to him, including the drugs located in the bedroom and the marijuana found in the vehicle.
A Samsung cellphone believed to belong to Parsley was also seized as evidence.
Parsley was transported to the Greene County Jail, where he was held on the following preliminary charges:
Possession of methamphetamine, Level 5 felony
Possession of a narcotic drug, Level 6 felony
