On Thursday, during an initial hearing, bond was set for a woman charged with meth possession and identity deception - $12,500 surety with ten percent allowed. But even if she posts the $1,250 cash in Greene County, she’s wanted on three other warrants out of Monroe County, in cases involving felony forgery, felony drug possession and a misdemeanor theft.

Update at 10:03 p.m. Sunday: The Indiana State Police Silver Alert 028-2018 issued on Saturday, June 9, 2018  on Robert Kennedy has been cancelled as of Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 10:03 pm….. It’s been well over 24 hours since Robert Kennedy Jr. went missing and the Linton Police Department is continuing to actively investigate and attempt to find Mr. Kennedy as soon as possible. Late Sunday afternoon, LPD Police Chief Troy Jerrell said, “We now know more than we did. We know he’s not been in this area.”

When 42-year-old Edward Dean Long of Jasonville got pulled over last summer in eastern Greene County, he got a written warning for failure to use a turn signal. He didn’t have a driver’s license, so the vehicle had to be towed, and inventoried. They found drugs, and a gun. On Wednesday, a jury found him guilty of dealing in methamphetamine and, due to a past conviction, unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.

Wanted: Warrant is out for suspected methamphetamine dealer with Greene County connections

Justus Kirk Wright, 40, is wanted in Sullivan County. He was arrested in May on a preliminary charge of dealing methamphetamine as a Level 2 felony. The jail log listed him with a home address in Linton. He paid $7,400 cash to bond out, then didn’t show up in court for his initial hearing.
