Cory A. Terrell, 44, Jasonville, is wanted on two warrants for his arrest, one ordered in Greene Superior Court by Judge Dena Martin and another one in Greene Circuit Court by Judge Erik Allen. Following Terrell’s conviction and sentencing in Circuit Court on Wednesday, May 23, Judge Allen allowed Terrell to turn himself in to the Greene County Jail no later than the morning of Tuesday, May 29, to begin serving his sentence. On Thursday morning in Greene Superior Court, a 25-year-old Linton man was sentenced to 2.5 years. When he was arrested in late March and on his way to jail in the back of a patrol vehicle, he kicked the back of a deputy’s seat numerous times, kicked the console, yelled profanities, then he kicked the deputy in the shoulder.

Two men jailed after shots fired at Linton home

Several punches were thrown in an ongoing disagreement between two juvenile females that led to a fight last Wednesday night in the Linton Park between several male and female juveniles. This feud then moved outside the park with boyfriends of the females participating. Before the night was over, both boyfriends allegedly resorted to drawing or using firearms. Shots were fired.

A warrant is out for the arrest of a convicted sex offender whose whereabouts are unknown. He had been living in Jasonville but left without notifying the Greene County Sex and Violent Offender Registrar as required by law. Deputies have made numerous attempts to locate him with no success.
