Glendora Mae Dobson

Glendora Mae Dobson, 92, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday January 13, 2026 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born May 25, 1933 in Bloomfield, Indiana the daughter of Hubert and Bessie (Christenberry) Harper.

Glendora was a homemaker; she worked in the kitchen at Eastern School for several years, she loved to crochet, spending time with her grandchildren and listening to music.

Surviving relatives include her two sons, Danny E. Dobson (Donna White), Gary L. Dobson (Rhonda), two grandsons, Kevin (Jessica) and Steve Dobson (Kaelie), her great-grandchildren, Zoey Dobson, Gunner Dobson, Gage Dobson, Abra Dobson and Hadlee Dobson.

Glendora was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Dobson on March 26, 1990; one grandson, David Dobson, five sisters and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until the hour of service on Monday January 19, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Ron Helderman officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.
