Orange County - On December 4th, 2020, the Dubois County Sheriffs Office completed an investigation into two separate burglaries involving a deadly weapon in Dubois County. As a result of that investigation, warrants were issued by the Dubois County Prosecutors Office for the two suspects.

At various times, the suspect has interacted with ISP, GCSD, BPD and LPD, and been involved in previous incidents in both Bloomfield and Linton as well as eastern Greene County. In one of those cases, still pending, he was out on bond when the shooting occurred. That bond has been revoked.

Greene County - Today, Tuesday, December 22, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the Greene County Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting of a gunshot victim at 13775 North Ivan Court, Solsberry, Indiana, located in rural eastern Greene County. Indiana State Police along with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence and located the victim. The victim was provided immediate medical care and was transported to a local hospital.
