A Linton woman suspected by the Greene County Drug Task Force of dealing meth in Greene County was arrested along with a man from Kentucky this week during a traffic stop. When a deputy initiated the stop, an object was thrown from the vehicle – the deputy said the object contained 169 grams of meth.

UPDATE with second arrest: Warrants remain outstanding for two men on drug charges

When officers arrived at a motel room in early July to check on two men believed to have overdosed on illegal drugs, they reported finding methamphetamine, heroin and paraphernalia scattered around the room. The men were unconscious. They were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Now they’re facing drug charges, with warrants out for their arrest. STORY UPDATE: One of two men wanted on drug charges was arrested last night, Thursday, August 27, by Officer Adam King of the Linton Police Department. James Robert Kent, 33, Switz City, was booked into the Greene County Jail at 10:44 p.m. and was being held without bond pending his appearance in court. STORY UPDATE #2: The second of two men wanted on drug charges was arrested last Friday night., September 4, by LPD Officer Adam King. Nathan Wayne Davidson, 26, Dugger, was booked into the Greene County Jail at 8:26 p.m. and is being held without bond pending court appearance.
