Tip leads to arrest of two on drug charges
/Last night, three deputies responded to a tip about drugs in a house on State Road 54 east of Bloomfield. They got a search warrant, reported finding meth and paraphernalia and took two people to jail.
Timothy Lee McClure, 41, and Goldie Louise Kieninger, 38, rural Bloomfield, were arrested last night, Thursday, September 3, by Deputy Michael Stanley of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. They were booked in at 10:38 p.m.
A little before 7 p.m., an individual called the sheriff’s department, said they were at their father’s house and that there was methamphetamine and a smoking device in a bedroom. They said they wanted deputies to remove these items from the house.
Deputy Stanley, the investigating officer, was dispatched along with Deputies Alan Jackson and Jordan Allor to a residence on East State Road 54, Bloomfield, which was the home of McClure and Kieninger.
When the officers arrived and asked McClure if there was anything illegal in the house, McClure said no and he agreed to let the deputies walk through the house.
Deputy Stanley said they saw two juveniles sitting on a couch in the living room and in McClure’s bedroom, they saw two glass smoking devices on top of a dresser, both with residue. They asked for McClure’s consent to search the residence but he said no. They applied for a search warrant.
Shortly before the warrant was executed, Kieninger arrived at the house, driving a silver 2007 Chrysler Sebring. A check on her driver’s license revealed her license was suspended with a prior conviction for driving while suspended and she is not eligible for a license.
Deputy Stanley reported that during the search, inside McClure and Kieninger’s bedroom, deputies located a small Ziploc bag containing a white crystal substance that field-tested positive as methamphetamine, four smoking devices with burnt residues, three hollow pens, a container with green plant material, a Winchester Model 06 .22 cal. and identification for both McClure and Kieninger.
Both McClure and Kieninger were taken into custody, transported and booked into the Greene County Jail where they were being held without bond pending court appearance.
