New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026: 

Sept. 3, 1:22 p.m., Michael David Kuhlenschmidt, 44, Lyons, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more, operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, and operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more. No bond was allowed. 

Sept. 3, 7:38 p.m., Austin Dean Holmes, 29, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
