A warrant was issued in Sullivan County earlier today for a Linton man accused of battery with a deadly weapon during an incident that occurred on Sunday, February 28. During the overnight hours following that incident, he was pulled over and arrested in Linton on drug charges.

Read MoreTwo area women were arrested Wednesday, February 24, on multiple charges in connection with the violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. According to FBI Indianapolis, both women are from Bloomfield.
Dona Sue Bissey, 52, and Anna Morgan-Lloyd, 49, Bloomfield, were taken into custody on charges that included knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Information about their actions on January 6 have not yet been released.
Both were reported to have been booked into the Vigo County Jail. They are expected to appear in a federal courtroom on Friday morning for initial hearings.
