Anthony Paul Robinson, 38, Bloomfield, was arrested by Det. David Elmore of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department last Thursday, February 25, during an investigation into criminal mischief and break-in at a cabin on South Walnut Grove Road.

In addition to Anthony Robinson, his ex-wife Jaime Dawn Robinson, 37, and another woman, Lisa Marie Armstrong, 33, were also arrested during this investigation. All three were residing at a residence on South Walnut Grove Road, rural Bloomfield, across the road from the cabin.

A story was posted on GreeneStreets last Friday about the investigation and the arrest of Jaime Robinson and an update was posted today. Another story about the arrest and charges pending against Lisa Armstrong was posted earlier tonight. After a number of detectives and deputies arrived at the residence of the Robinsons and Armstrong, and methamphetamine was found in a backpack that belonged to Jaime Robinson, she allegedly told deputies there was more methamphetamine in the house and that her ex-husband, Anthony Robinson, possibly had meth on him. She said she stayed downstairs and he stayed upstairs with Lisa Armstrong.

Also, once deputies arrived at the residence, they noticed a white 2012 Chrysler 200 car parked behind the house. Jaime Robinson said Anthony Robinson had stolen the car. Anthony Robinson said Jaime Robinson had stolen the car and that he had nothing to do with the car.

Deputies then learned the car was reported as stolen out of Indianapolis.

When a search warrant was executed, a number of items of evidence was found downstairs and in a garage area. Upstairs, deputies reported finding a syringe, a white pill identified as Xanax - a controlled substance, a plastic bag with green plant material, a smoking pipe with burnt marijuana, and items of paraphernalia. Armstrong did not have a prescription for Xanax. Anthony Robinson did not have a prescription for Xanax.

Lisa Armstrong was booked into the Greene County Jail at 3:54 p.m. Jaime Robinson was booked in at 4:15 p.m. Anthony Robinson was booked in later that night, at 9:54 p.m., after the search warrant was executed. All three were held without bond pending court appearances.

Earlier today, Monday, March 1, when Anthony Robinson appeared in the Greene County Magistrate Court for his initial hearing, via video connection between the jail and the courtroom, he was formally charged with:

  • Possession of methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony,

  • Unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony,

  • Two counts of maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony,

  • Possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, and

A public defender was appointed to represent him and his bond was set at $14,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. As of late Monday, he had not yet posted bond and remained in the Greene County Jail.
