The Indianapolis Star is reporting a Bloomfield woman, Dona Sue Bissey, is planning to plead guilty to crimes committed during the Capitol Riot on January 6.

Dona Sue Bissey, 52, and Anna Morgan-Lloyd, 49, Bloomfield, were taken into custody on charges that included knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Information about their actions on January 6 have not yet been released.
Both were reported to have been booked into the Vigo County Jail. They are expected to appear in a federal courtroom on Friday morning for initial hearings.

Sharon graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1955, and soon after married the absolute love of her life, Francis Dale Baker. Fran and Sharon shared 69 years together, raising three daughters Charlotte Maas, Sherry (Todd) Vandeventer and Teresa (Dan) Willis.
James "Jim" Meier, age 87, of Worthington, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Autumn Trace Assisted Living in Linton. He was born in Vincennes, IN on September 17, 1938, the son of Sheldon & Jennie (Yates) Meier.
Jonathan E. Terrell, 42, of Sullivan, IN passed away at 4:38 A.M. Thursday, May 7, 2026 in his home.
Charles (Chuck) Harrison Hoard passed away at Serenity Spring Senior living Center in Jasonville on Monday, May 4, 2026. He was born in Linton on March 6, 1949 to Thomas Archie and Florene (Long) Hoard.
Judy Kay Chalfont (Singleton) of Fairfax, Virginia, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, April 20, 2026, while surrounded by the love of her family. She was born to William Singleton and Esther Maxine Stevenson Singleton of Linton, Indiana on October 15, 1941.
Marilyn Leliece Rentschler was born to Bridwell and Audrey (Payne) Moyer March 08,1929 and resided in Bloomfield until moving to Linton. She passed away Monday, April 27, 2026 at Glenburn Home in Linton at the age of 97. Marilyn married Billy (Bill) Rentschler who preceded her in death in 2003.
Chester A. "Chet" McCammon, 91, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 3:30 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born in Paxton on October 9, 1934, he was the son of Elbert and Mabelle (Wilbur) McCammon.
Mary E. Kirk, age 68, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 6:50 pm on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at McCormick's Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born in Lapeer, MI on November 23, 1957, the daughter of Carroll "Buck" & Catherine (Powell) Cullison.
