Greene County man sentenced to 50 years on federal charges of sexual exploitation and child pornography

INDIANAPOLIS – A Greene County man was sentenced to 50 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a minor and the distribution/receipt of child pornography. He will also serve a lifetime term of supervised release, must pay $10,000 in restitution to the minor victim, and was also ordered to have no contact with the minor victim or victim's family.

When a Linton man was arrested last week, officers reported they seized over eight ounces of methamphetamine. He’s accused of possession of meth with intent to deal and has been charged with a Level 2 felony. When he appeared in court on Tuesday, his bond was set at $75,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed and the prosecution notified the court they intend to seek an habitual offender status which could add a significant enhancement to his sentence if he is found guilty.

Suspected drug dealer booked into jail then picked up by federal agents early this morning

After his arrest on Tuesday, July 13, by ISP, Kenneth Keiffer Fielder, 26, Bloomfield, was first booked into the Morgan County Jail. Yesterday afternoon, he was transported and booked into the Greene County Jail where he was wanted in a case of felony dealing methamphetamine. But Fielder was also named as a suspect in connection with a federal investigation and take-down of an organized drug trafficking operation and a federal warrant was issued for his arrest. Around 7:15 a.m. today, Friday, July 16, Fielder was released from the jail into the custody of federal agents.

INDIANAPOLIS – Nineteen individuals have been indicted in relation to a federal methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking operation in Indianapolis. Seventeen of these individuals are charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl. One is a resident of rural Bloomfield and one is a resident of Spencer.
