New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026: 

Oct. 15, 1:26 p.m., James Garland Hearon, 59, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more, and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $9,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Oct. 15, 11:48 p.m., Taylor Ann Hargis, 25, Bloomington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of false informing. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Oct. 16, 12:46 a.m., Cole Alexander Josway, 20, Sullivan, was arrested on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
