Suspected drug dealer booked into jail then picked up by federal agents early this morning

After his arrest on Tuesday, July 13, by ISP, Kenneth Keiffer Fielder, 26, Bloomfield, was first booked into the Morgan County Jail. Yesterday afternoon, he was transported and booked into the Greene County Jail where he was wanted in a case of felony dealing methamphetamine. But Fielder was also named as a suspect in connection with a federal investigation and take-down of an organized drug trafficking operation and a federal warrant was issued for his arrest. Around 7:15 a.m. today, Friday, July 16, Fielder was released from the jail into the custody of federal agents.

ISP Troopers complete investigation with arrest of third suspect

An Indiana State Police investigation into suspected drug activity in Greene County resulted in the arrest of two suspects in May. A third suspect was taken into custody early this morning.

State Road 37 to close in Martinsville for one year starting on January 2 for I-69 construction

Morgan County, Ind. – Nearly five miles of State Road 37 in Martinsville is scheduled to close between S.R. 39 and Morgan Street starting this Saturday, Jan. 2. Expected to last most of 2021, the closure will allow crews to work faster and safer on I-69 Finish Line construction through Martinsville.
