He was born on February 21, 1947 in Linton to Louis Lloyd and Dorothy Marie (Doyle) Powell. John married Rita R. (Ball) Powell on December 22, 1968.

Frederick M. ‘Fritz’ Rohrmayer, 79, of Sandborn, Indiana, went to Heaven, with his loving family by his side at his home, on Thursday, September 26, 2024. He was born on September 5, 1945 in Linton, Indiana to Henry and Mary (Koren) Rohrmayer. Fritz married the love of his life, Susan M. (Chandler) Rohrmayer on December 5, 1975.
