Sgt. Hobbs and LPD Officer John Agan were on patrol when they saw a Pontiac G6 near the intersection of State Road 54 and County Road 1300 West in Linton. checked the registration and found the plate went with a Pontiac Firebird.

Schickel was the driver. She was detained on the warrant and when a brief search for contraband and weapons was conducted, Officer Agan reported Schickel had a glass smoking device with white residue in her jacket pocket.

Sgt. Hobbs, the investigating officer, reported that during the booking process at the Greene County Jail, jail staff conducted a more thorough search and found Schickel was in possession of a plastic bag containing approximately 3.5 grams of a white crystal substance that field-tested positive as methamphetamine.

Schickel is now facing new charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor, in addition to the possible revocation of her suspended sentence on the earlier conviction.
