The United States Flag is be displayed at half-staff effective immediately until sunset, tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 18, honoring the life of U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, who passed away. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 56-year-old business owner accused of exposing himself, masturbating and approaching young women while he was naked at his business, Grip’s Pizza in Bloomfield. According to the Indiana State Police, at the time of the alleged incidents, the man was serving as a high school and junior high golf coach at a local school, but his employment has since been terminated.

Despite the preparations, the trial didn’t happen. That morning, the defendant decided to change his plea to guilty and yesterday in Greene Circuit Court, he was sentenced to nine years with three years suspended leaving him six years to serve.

The Linton teen is scheduled to appear in Greene Superior Court tomorrow morning to be charged as an adult.
