New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026:

Jan. 12, 3:22 p.m., Cody Wayne Parsons, 29, Solsberry, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery by bodily waste–victim is pregnant, strangulation–victim is pregnant, and invasion of privacy. He was also arrested on two out-of-county warrants for court-order probation violations. No bond was allowed. 

Jan. 12, 11:15 p.m., Ralph Franklin Robertson, 45, Ellettsville, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
