Alexander "Alex" Leigh, age 24, of Linton, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born in Linton, IN on August 9, 2001.

He was a 2019 graduate of Dugger Union High School and was only a couple credit hours away from receiving his Bachelor's degree from Ball State University in Economics and was applying to Law schools. Alex loved spending time with his family and playing games on his Xbox.

Alex is survived by his dad, Dennis Leigh; bonus parents, Joe Hineman, Michelle Camden and Johnny Camden; siblings, Jaycee Leigh, Bentley Leigh, Kade King and Kaleb King; grandparents, Bob & Margaret Burgess and Pamela & Rich Orr; aunts and uncles, Kim Leigh, Doug (Danielle) Leigh, Robin (Bruce) Stoner and Angie Porter as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Bobbi (Burgess) Hineman; grandparents, Jerry & Sue Leigh as well as his nephew, Kaidrian Leigh.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
