According to their announcement, the decision weighed heavily on the hearts of all the planners who made the decision based on the inability to ensure the safety of the youth of our community who attend the event.
The annual event, always held in August, attracts children, parents and citizens from across the county and law enforcement and social service agencies throughout the county participate.
The LPD said they have already started planning the next NNO event for Aug 3, 2021.
