Charges filed against suspect; more details emerge about Friday night shooting

Dustin Turley, the Jasonville man accused of shooting Trenton Keller multiple times in Hymera last Friday night, is facing a preliminary charge of attempted murder, a Level 1 felony. More details about the shooting emerged when the criminal case was filed against Turley yesterday, on Monday, August 3, in Sullivan Superior Court.

Attempted murder suspect in custody after being detained by Jasonville residents

Dustin Turley, 33, Jasonville, is in custody. Turley was wanted for attempted murder following a shooting incident that occurred in Hymera late Friday night. Turley apparently arrived in Jasonville this afternoon, Sunday, August 2, where he was detained by local residents who contacted the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. Turley has been booked into the Sullivan County Jail where his bond is set at $50,000 cash only.

Jasonville man shot multiple times, another Jasonville man is on the run

A Jasonville man, Trenton Keller, 33, was shot multiple times in Hymera late Friday night and the suspect, another Jasonville man, Dustin Turley, 33, is wanted for attempted murder. Turley is on the run. Keller was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. If anyone sees or comes into contact with Turley, ISP says they should immediately call 911 or contact the Putnamville State Police Post at 1-800-225-8576.
