Bond set at $50,000 cash for man accused of brutally beating a woman

Bond has been set at $50,000 cash only for a Jasonville man who allegedly confined a woman in a bedroom for three days while he beat her with a baseball bat, left burn marks on her body from a torch and stabbed her legs with a steak knife. She received serious injuries on her face and entire body and was transported to Greene County General for medical treatment.

Troopers Investigating Homicide in Owen County

Detectives with the Indiana State Police Bloomington District are conducting a death investigation related to a Wednesday evening shooting that occurred at a residence located in the area of US 231 and North Cataract Road in Owen County. Two suspects left in an unknown direction in a gray or blue passenger vehicle. The make and model of the vehicle are unknown. It is not believed that the public is in danger and investigators are looking for any information that the public may have. ISP press conference about Delphi murders set for 10 a.m. this morning

Last week, anonymous sources alerted media of a break in the Delphi murder case involving the arrest of a suspect. Then last Friday, the Indiana State Police announced a press conference will be held this week to announce the developments in the 2017 murders of Libby German and Abby Williams. Late yesterday, ISP issued an advisory to media that the conference is scheduled for this morning, Monday, October 31, at 10 a.m. at the Delphi United Methodist Church. 2022 General Election Mail-in Absentee Application Deadline is Today

INDIANAPOLIS (October 27, 2022) – Indiana Secretary of State Holli Sullivan is reminding Hoosiers that today, Thursday, October 27, is the final day for a circuit court clerk to receive an absentee ballot application from an applicant requesting delivery of an absentee ballot by mail.

The application to request a mail-in ballot must be received no later than 11:59 p.m., 12 days before the election. Applications may be submitted to the circuit court clerk in person or by mail, fax, email, or online through the Indiana Voter Portal at IndianaVoters.com.
