Asphalt resurface projects to begin April 3 in Owen County

OWEN COUNTY, Ind.— Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving Inc. plans to begin work next week on a $5.3 million asphalt resurface contract in Owen County.

Featherston was transported to IU Health-Bloomington Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. The suspect, Forey-Standifer (pictured), remains at large. Judy Kay Chalfont (Singleton) of Fairfax, Virginia, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, April 20, 2026, while surrounded by the love of her family. She was born to William Singleton and Esther Maxine Stevenson Singleton of Linton, Indiana on October 15, 1941.
Marilyn Leliece Rentschler was born to Bridwell and Audrey (Payne) Moyer March 08,1929 and resided in Bloomfield until moving to Linton. She passed away Monday, April 27, 2026 at Glenburn Home in Linton at the age of 97. Marilyn married Billy (Bill) Rentschler who preceded her in death in 2003.
