Winds of 20 mph with occasional gusts to 30 mph are expected Monday evening, and the heaviest snowfall is currently expected between 4 pm and midnight.

Travel is expected to be very difficult, and especially treacherous Monday evening as heavy snow could combine with winds to produce near zero visibility at times. Blowing and drifting will also make snow removal difficult and could continue the travel problems into the day on Tuesday.

Use caution if you must travel. Wear appropriate clothing and keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
