Jury finds Sean Neal guilty of child molesting, and of being a habitual felony offender

Sean Neal of Jasonville has been arrested numerous times and served several stints in prison and in the county jail. He was accused of receiving stolen property taken during a burglary of Shakamak School buses back in 2007, arrested in the burglary of the Bibleway Church in Linton in 2007, arrested in various cases involving strangulation and batteries, a jailhouse fight, threatening law enforcement officers and criminal mischief, and in 2012, he was arrested for possession of a homemade explosive device. Yesterday, a jury found him guilty of child molesting and of being a habitual felony offender.

Four busted on drug charges last weekend in Linton

A driver didn’t use a turn signal in Linton early Saturday and an LPD officer pulled him over. A K9 alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Two passengers admitted they’d all just smoked meth in a motel room. When officers arrived to execute a search warrant on the motel room, a man was there knocking on the door. Within a few hours, four people were booked into jail including the driver, the two passengers, and the guy knocking on the door.

UPDATE with Bond Info: Rural Bloomfield woman accused of breaking into cabin on Thursday

A rural Bloomfield woman is accused of breaking into a cabin and knocking holes in a wall. She allegedly told a deputy she thought someone was inside the wall…….. UPDATE: When Jaime Robinson appeared in the Greene County Magistrate Court for her initial hearing on Monday, March 1, via video connection between the jail and the courtroom, she was formally charged and a public defender was appointed to represent her. Bond was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent cash. As of late Monday, she had not yet posted bond and remained in the Greene County Jail.
