A longtime Jasonville tradition will take on a new name this weekend as riders gather to honor the memory of former Jasonville Police Chief Jim Gadberry.

Community members have another opportunity to donate blood this week after additional appointment times were added to the Worthington Fire Protection Territory's upcoming blood drive. The blood drive, conducted by Versiti Blood Center of Indiana and hosted by the Worthington Fire Protection Territory, will now begin at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, instead of the previously scheduled 3 p.m. start time. The blood drive will take place at the fire station.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for full-time dispatch positions.
