New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026: 

Sept. 16, 5:26 p.m., Haylee Delaine Hostetter, 39, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Sept. 16, 9:24 p.m., Daniel Joe Day, 36, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and interfering with public safety. No bond was allowed.
