New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2026: 

Sept. 15, 11:30 a.m., Charles Wayne Wilson, 35, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. No bond was allowed. 

Sept. 15, 2:00 p.m., Jon Casey Shipley, 61, Springville, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment. No bond was allowed. 

Sept. 15, 3:18 p.m., Brandon Curtis Jamison, 38, Solsberry, was arrested on preliminary charges of interfering with public safety and reckless driving. His bond was set at $1,500 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
