She was born on October 29, 1938, in Yuma, Arizona to Carl W. and Gertrude M. (Ashbaugh) Ward. Beverly married her husband of 63 years, Ronald G. Chapman, on June 23, 1962.
Raymond Eugene Bedwell, born May 29, 1951, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and passed away Feb. 6, 2026, at the age of 74 in Jacksonville, Florida, was a devoted husband, father, teacher, and decorated United States Army veteran who will be remembered for his lifelong commitment to service and leadership.
Alice Faye Maesch, 53, of Solsberry, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026, surrounded by family at Redcrest Hospice House in Bloomington. Born in Bloomington on January 23, 1973, to Floyd and Ruby (Terrell) Michael, Alice lived a life defined by love, laughter, and an unwavering kindness to all who crossed her path.
Janice Lee Cross, age 70, of Lyons, passed away peacefully at 1:23 pm on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Greene County General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 21, 1955. She was the daughter of Lutie & Myrtle (Norwood) Collins.
Gloria A. Huey, 94, of Washington, Indiana, formerly of Sandborn, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully at the Villages of Oak Ridge in Washington, February 12, 2026. She was born on June 3, 1931, in Petersburg, Indiana to Lestle and Ruth (Swain) Atkinson. Gloria married the love of her life, William Ray ‘Bill’ Huey on January 1, 1950.
On July 31st, 1944, RUTH MARIE TRUSTY MATTOX was born in LINTON, INDIANA. She was named after both of her grandmothers while her father was on duty in the Pacific Theatre as a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army during World War II. Ruth Marie passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in the early morning hours at Glenburn Senior Living in Linton, Indiana surrounded by her two loving and doting sons.
Katherine L. Vickers, 83, of Rock Falls, IL, formerly of Linton, IN, passed from this life to eternity on Sunday, February 8th. Katherine was born to Harold R. and Maxine (Thayer) Wright in Indianapolis, IN on August 5, 1942. “Kathie” grew up in Linton, and met the love of her life, William “Bill” Vickers, where they married on May 28, 1966. They spent over 50 years together in the same farmhouse outside of Linton before moving to Sterling, IL in 2018.
Barbara Ferris, age 97, of Deer Park, IL, formerly of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 1:15 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Journey Care Hospice in Barrington, IL.
