Solsberry man arrested after domestic disturbance
/A Solsberry man was arrested Monday afternoon following a reported domestic disturbance and brief search involving a drone and K-9 unit, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on North Legion Road at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Jan. 12 in response to the disturbance. Upon arrival, officers reported that a male subject fled the scene on foot.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance from a drone unit and a K-9 team to search the area. Deputies located the suspect hiding in a makeshift shed on the property, where he was taken into custody without further incident.
Cody Parsons, 29, of Solsberry, was arrested and faces charges of domestic battery by bodily waste involving a pregnant victim, strangulation involving a pregnant victim, and invasion of privacy.
Parsons was also arrested on two outstanding warrants from Monroe County.
Assisting agencies included the Worthington Police Department, Greene County Ambulance Service and Eastern Greene Fire Territory.
