New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026:

Aug. 26, 3:12 p.m., Patrick Lyle Derolf, 44. St. John, was arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 26, 8:59 p.m., Eric William Bland, 31, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespass. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
