New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026:

Aug. 27, 12:20 p.m., Michelle Tara Wess, 41, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for theft when the value of property is at least $750 and less than $50,000 and interfering with public safety. Her bond was set at $10,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Aug. 27, 5:47 p.m., Jordan Douglas McDonald, 32, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery, false informing, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 28, 4:35 a.m., Isabelle Louise Gaarder, 18, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated-engangerment. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
