Greene County Long Term Recovery Group to meet

The next meeting of the Greene County Long Term Recovery Group (LTEG) will be Tuesday, August 12, at 4 pm at the Greene County Foundation office. The role of the Greene County Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is focused on damage done during May 16 tornadoes that hit portions of Greene County, near Linton, Worthington, Switz City County to develop a set of guidelines, and to organize and oversee the functions of disaster case management, monetary donations, non-monetary donations, fund raising, construction, volunteer management, emotional and spiritual care, communications, and any other unmet needs that arise.

Authorities say there is unconfirmed information that Criss may have recently started a new job at FedEx, but that employment has not been verified as of Monday. UPDATE: Goodman has contacted police and is deemed safe. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Robert E. Goodman in order to conduct a welfare check. Goodman was last seen by his family on the evening of Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, and has not been in contact with them since. While his whereabouts remain unconfirmed, Goodman and his vehicle were captured on traffic cameras in Hendricks County on the evening of Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025. Goodman may be driving a silver 2005 Honda Pilot with Indiana license plate 450DZZ.
