Greene County Long Term Recovery Group to meet
/The next meeting of the Greene County Long Term Recovery Group (LTEG) will be Tuesday, August 12, at 4 p.m. at the Greene County Foundation office.
The role of the Greene County Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is focused on damage done during May 16 tornadoes that hit portions of Greene County, near Linton, Worthington, Switz City County to develop a set of guidelines, and to organize and oversee the functions of disaster case management, monetary donations, non-monetary donations, fund raising, construction, volunteer management, emotional and spiritual care, communications, and any other unmet needs that arise.
To date, 26 properties were determined to be destroyed while another 56 properties sustained major damage.

The United Way has agreed to serve as the fiscal sponsor for the LTRG, Donations to the LTRG can also come through the Greene County Foundation and sent along to the United Way to be credited into a designated account.
The foundation office is located at 4513 W St Rd, W State Rd 54, on the Greene County Fairgrounds, about one mile east of Switz City.
