A 43-year-old Terre Haute man, an inmate at the Greene County Jail, is facing additional charges following a Dec. 18 incident at the jail. 

A 58-year-old Columbus man was arrested on Dec. 16 on drug-related charges after allegedly acting suspiciously after hours at a local store. 

A traffic stop for an expired license plate on Dec. 19 resulted in the arrest of a 36-year-old Bloomfield woman for possession of methamphetamine. 

A summons to appear in court has been issued for a Bloomfield man on interference with custody charges after he allegedly failed to return his son after weekend visitation.

A 41-year-old Worthington woman was arrested Dec. 14 on felony alcohol-related charges after a traffic stop for traveling 110 MPH in a 55 MPH speed zone.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal one-vehicle car accident that occurred Wednesday morning on East Ore Branch Road. 

A Martinsville man, who lied to police about his identity and age, was summoned to appear in Greene Superior Court after allegedly taking items without rending payment at the Jasonville Family Dollar Store. 

An Evansville man was arrested on Dec. 11 after failing to appear at his initial hearing in a case involving the theft of several bottles of anti-diarrhea medicine during six stops at a local store. 

A 23-year-old Linton man wanted on a warrant for auto theft after allegedly selling a truck that wasn’t his was arrested on Dec. 7. 

A Bloomington woman was arrested on Dec. 7 on drug charges in the parking lot of Greene County Community Corrections after staff reported behavior consistent with drug use. 

A Linton man has been summoned to appear in Greene County Superior Court in February after failing to take a deer to a check-in station and hunting deer with excess cartridges. 

A 35–year-old Linton man was arrested Dec. 11 on a warrant after he allegedly battered a woman in the presence of a child less than 16 years of age. 

A 21-year-old Coalmont man, previously convicted of theft, was arrested on a warrant Dec. 12 after allegedly taking items from the Jasonville Family Dollar Store without rending payment.
