One vehicle accident claims life of 19 year old

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fatal one-vehicle car accident that occurred Wednesday morning on East Ore Branch Road. 

According to a press release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, a 2022 Kia K5G driven by 19-year-old Fayela V. Klinger of Lafayette was traveling westbound on East Ore Branch Road at approximately 10:56 a.m. when it struck a tree. Klinger was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The accident is under investigation by Greene County Sheriff’s Department’s Sgt. Shawn Cullison and Deputy Andrew Shelton. Greene County Ambulance Service, Greene County Coroner’s Office, and Richland Fire Department assisted them at the scene.
