New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025:

Dec. 15, 6:46 p.m., Brandon Michael Mullis, 26, Worthington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. No bond was allowed. 

Dec. 15, 8:42 p.m., Shawn Justin Hall, 48, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more and driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $500.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
