UPDATE: LOCATED SAFE..........GCSD asks for info to help locate a juvenile missing from the Solsberry area

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is asking for information to help locate a runaway juvenile missing from the Solsberry area in eastern Greene County.

Detective Shawn Cullison said Devin Harrison, 13, was last seen around 4 a.m. this morning, Tuesday, June 29, in the Solsberry / Whitehall area. Det. Cullison said no clothing description is available but Devin left riding a red and white bicycle.

Anyone who has any information about Devin’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Greene County Sheriff’s Department at 812-384-4411.

SR 54 near Sullivan to be closed July 6 until early August

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a complete road closure for State Road 54 just east of U.S. 41. Beginning on or around Tuesday July 6, contractors will close S.R. 54 about a half mile east of the junction of U.S. 41 to replace a box culvert at that location. Work will require complete excavation of the structure and cuts across all lanes of traffic. Work is expected to last until the beginning of August, depending upon weather conditions. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. All through traffic should use the official detour following U.S. 41, S.R. 48 and S.R. 59.

State Road 159 will close July 6 through early September north of Coalmont in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a small structure replacement project will close State Road 159 on or after Tuesday, July 6 over an unnamed tributary to the Eel River, located nearly two miles north of Coalmont. The roadway is scheduled to reopen on Monday, September 6. The official detour follows S.R. 48, U.S. 41, S.R. 246 and back.

UPDATE: VEHICLE LOCATED........ WPD asking for information on truck that hit two vehices then left the scene

UPDATE: VEHICLE LOCATED……. WPD Town Marshal Jim O’Malley reported the suspect truck and trailer was located this morning, Friday, June 25, on State Road 54 near Bloomfield. O’Malley said the driver admitted he was in Worthington yesterday in the vehicle but he did not realize he had hit the parked vehicles. According to O’Malley, the driver’s trailer was damaged and the damage matched that on the vehicles that were hit. The driver was insured and was an employee of a company from Brazil, Ind.

STORY UPDATED with BETTER PHOTOS of SUSPECT VEHICLE…….. The Worthington Police Department is asking the public for information to help locate a truck that allegedly hit two parked vehicles in Worthington then left the scene.

WPD Town Marshal Jim O’Malley reported the truck pulling a trailer entered the parking lot of the Dollar General store in Worthington around 12:30 p.m. today, Thursday, June 24. The suspect vehicle then hit two parked vehicles doing significant damage. The vehicle did not stop and continued back onto State Road 67.

Anyone with information about this vehicle is asked to contact the Worthington Police Department by calling Dispatch at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department at 812-384-4411.
