Bond revoked for suspicious man arrested first in Sullivan County then in Linton within days

Last week a story was posted about the arrest on October 20 by LPD of a suspicious man who was asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle parked in a public place in Linton. The same man was arrested on October 12 in Sullivan County by ISP following a foot pursuit through several residential yards. He was accused of being in possession of syringes, cocaine, methamphetamine and bath salts. A few days later, he posted $2,800 and was released on bond only to get arrested in Greene County a few days after that. Last Friday, October 21, his bond was revoked in Sullivan County and a warrant for his arrest was issued out of Sullivan County. Man accused of threatening neighbors with a shotgun because he thought they were killing his cats

When a man thought his neighbors were killing his cats, he allegedly went to their residence and threatened them with a shotgun then tried to convince a detective that he did not take a shotgun to their house. His story fell apart when the detective showed him a broken piece of the shotgun that had been left at the neighbor’s house.

It's been over a year since an investigation began into the misuse of funds belonging to the Linton F.O.P. Lodge, followed by the arrest of a former Linton Police Officer accused of the theft of over $20,000. The case is getting closer to a conclusion since the officer changed her plea to guilty of theft as a misdemeanor and a judgement of conviction was entered into the court record earlier this week.
